Things To Keep In Mind Before Buying The Solar Panel

Solar Panels

Solar panels are also known as photovoltaic solar modules, solar plates and solar energy panels. Solar panels are made up of a group of 60–72 solar cells that convert sunlight into electricity. The solar cell is made by cutting wafers with silicon. One or more solar panels make solar systems that can be used in homes, companies, schools, industries, etc. The solar panel is a core part of the solar system and all types of solar systems (on-grid solar system, off-grid solar system and hybrid solar system) have the same type of solar panel. The solar panel prices will depend on the type of solar panel system you are purchasing.

Solar systems are mainly of the following types:

Off-Grid Solar System

In the off-grid solar system, you have to use a solar panel, inverter and battery. The off-grid solar system is used at a place where electricity comes for a short time. In the off-grid solar system, you get battery backup. So that you can run your home appliance even when the main supply is turned off. And the off-grid solar system is also used in a place where there is no electricity connection. In this case, with the help of a solar panel during the day time, we can charge the battery and use it at night time.

On-Grid Solar System

On-grid solar systems are mainly used to save electricity because the on-grid solar system works only when the main supply is available. When the main supply stops, the on-grid solar system also shuts down and it does not give you any kind of electricity. On-grid solar systems use only solar panels and inverters and all the equipment in your home is run with the help of inverters and if your solar system makes more electricity than your load then you can also sell electricity. The prices of these solar panels are a bit higher.

Hybrid solar system

The hybrid solar system is considered to be best connected to the grid and aligned to the off-grid solar system. These systems can either be placed in off-grid solar utilities with backup power or described as grid-connected solar with additional battery storage.

Which Solar Panel Types to Get

Solar panels can be divided into two parts: monocrystalline and polycrystalline

Monocrystalline solar panels will be very beneficial in the area where the weather is bad or the sun is visible only for a short time. It can also work in low sunlight. The efficiency of monocrystalline panels is higher than that of polycrystalline panels.

Polycrystalline solar panels are used in areas with good sunlight and have slightly lower efficiency than monocrystalline. That is why their price is also low, so if you get good sunlight in your area, then only use Polycrystalline. The price of a solar panel also depends on the quality of the product.

Which of these solar systems do you need? It will depend on your usage and solar panel prices, if you need battery backup then you have to install an off-grid solar system and if you need to save electricity and if you have less power then you will have to install the on-grid solar system.
